The Decorate Ideas blog is run by our chief copywriter, Rupert. Raised in South Africa, Rupert came to the UK when he was in his teens and after studying politics at university, he later decided to follow his dream and fully enter the field of Interior Design. Currently, Rupert works for a famed UK company that deals with interior remodelling and decoration. Oftentimes he is the project planner as well as financial consultant, but in his spare time he writes. Every blog post that you see on Decorate Ideas is created by Rupert – he fuels the articles with his knowledge, passion and advice.

Decorate Ideas first came to existence in 2013. The blog ran for 8 years, with huge success, until we decided to revolutionise the content. Since 2013 we focused predominantly on topics regarding new forms of décor, trends and fashion regarding interior design; now we want to spread our wings and discuss all manner of subject matter. Our head copywriter, Rupert, is an enthusiast of Interior Design, but he shares our opinion that there is a wealth of other topics we could discuss on this platform.
